Wanted to share this. Used auto antifreeze is a taste termites don’t like. Spray with a garden pump sprayer to under house joists and base plate, NOT to underside of floors or hardwoods. The lumber will absorb the antifreeze and cause the wood to be very distasteful to termites. Keep in mind antifreeze is poision to dogs and is water soluable, so if the treated wood is standing in water the water will in time dilute it, also if you treat the underside of the hardwood flooring it might discolor it.

I am looking to make a hand made hanging tin man out of cans I have around the house for my yard…the reason being because they are rather expensive to buy pre made and I’m sure I can accomplish making one on my own. I’m curious though as to how I would fit the cans together to make the tin man’s body?? I’ve included a link to show you an example of the type of tin man I’m interested in making
