House Home And Garden

I attended one of those home parties tonight, and was kind of uncomfortable, just felt like I was in some cult, everyone was holding hands and slopping sugar, I was really uneasy. Everything was alright until I opened the catalog and saw the prices! WOW! Almost $300 for a skin care line! I was very disgusted, and then the sales lady was very pushy and wanted me to sell this stuff! I mean come on, it was for a friend of mine and she told me that she only sold $45 worth. I am not sure what her commission is but she can’t be making a real living with it, like she bragged. OH yea $75 for a candle set of 3, shocking! Ok on to my question. Have any of you all been to a party like this and if you have, tell me about your experience. Just wanting to know if this is the norm for these type of parties, been invited to another party for Home and Garden Party next week, and if they are the same I will just kindly decline the request, or make myself busy that night. lol.
