I’m wondering which of these home design programs are better. Personally I don’t see a difference just price wise.

My 12 yr old son wants to be an arcitect and we have played around with some of the less expensive ($9.99) home design software, but they seem a little hard to get started with. Anyone know if a very simple one to purchase? We were thinking of the Better Homes & Gardens series, maybe find one on e-bay..
She is too modern for a “Better Homes & Gardens” but still too midwest to go full on sheik, comtemporary unbanite style.
Any suggestions?
Also looking for books if you know of good ones.
